my sunstone is at 250 and hasn't evolved so I think it will be 275

do the chickens evolve any further then on the head?

Yes the last stage is in the head, the snome develops a face after getting the belt and GUESS WHICH PET DISINCUBATED AT 250!!

Thanks for the image, mdom. That bear is so cute!! - so it sits on the head then? It would be nice if one day we could have it so it stood beside our avatars (or would that be too scary - like it was ready to pounce? )

A good point to bring up - I didn't know we could put the eggs in the pound, I just assumed it would have had to have hatched - one of these days I will put something in the pound but right now that would make me feel like I was abandoning the poor thing! :cry:

But I suppose that is the only way to trade a pet right now?

I tried to trade a snome and found out it couldn't be traded... but Akuyi I believe said they have put things in the pound for someone to buy.
