I called one Patti and the other Paddy but I should have called it Pladdy or Platty - I wonder how many levels they grow to?

I know this has probably been asked or addressed before but I've been gone for a year or so... how else can you get pets besides if there's one at the pound? I'm assuming they can be traded like clothing items.

Pets can not be traded yet. You purchase them as eggs in the pet shop above header. Check out my front page or Diana's pet thread in the help forum for instructions on raising them.

HOWEVER - when Windlyn went into beta every member that had already joined received the blue Windlyn egg on your avatar now. That is VERY rare. You can hatch it if you like or just keep it an egg for now. Images of the stages are on my first page of this thread.

If you fish in the star pond you MAY be able to find a Ursus egg which hatches into an adorable bear (on Mdom's avatar right now).
