Anyone participating this year? If so, share your ideas if you want to
this will be the first year im going to aim for the full 50k~!
for those who havent heard of it~ its "national novel writing month"
though that's a bit of a misnomer seeing as its not only nationally anymore but xD

So you just write a novel or how does it work?

thats pretty much it!
it focuses not so much on completing the novel, its mostly just meant to be get 50k-ish word count even as a rough draft, and then you can go back later and edit it, just so you have the bulk of a novel written
the official website gives out a lot of writing tips, help with writers block, and you can post your work there for others to read, and help you with etc

I just looked it up and there is a group in he town I live in.
I would do it but I'm not good at writing.

it can be pretty tough to complete in a month~ i struggle, though thats because i always fall short of the word count

but im already behind T_T its meant to be like 12ish k per week to make the word count

I love writing. :c I could plow through words like it's nothing, haha. I wanted to be an English teacher for yeeaarrss. And an author. But that's besides the point! When did it start, and when does/did it end?

it started on the 1st and ends on the 30th
i struggle with word counts ^_^;

I really vvant to do it but I don't think there's a group here, there vvas in the capital vvhen i lived there but i moved earlier this year to a much smaller place so..
