It's been a while.

I know, i know... I've been very inactive on the forums and with plenty of good and bad reasons for due to life, health and blah blah blah.

So to start with: Where the heck have i been?

I've been having way less free time due to my full-time job on a supermarket that i've been working for 2 years, and it ended up affecting me as i get less free time due to stress, and barely getting rest due to 6x1 scale, and don't get me started with A LOT OF NOISES! Due to my auditory hypersensitivity by autism spectrum. It was getting unbearable without my ear mufflers that thankfully my mom bought. This combined with my online studies is a real pain in the ass.

Now for the next topic: I've been planning a lot.

You know when you have an idea that it's perfect for you to make, but don't have motivation or you're distracted by something else? Yep, that's me in a nutshell. I get easily distracted and barely pay attention without any medication for it. Yep, ADHD is a bitch. But since i wanna beat myself to create something, anything, i'll try my best to post any piece of creativity as best i could do.

What am i planning to post?

To start, i could start an webcomic in this website, i'm just doing because i want to for fun, like i've done in the past. And about time use Walfas instead of letting it stay in my PC without use for a long time. Alternatively, i could start an Let's Play here. Now you might be wondering: Aren't you supposed to make a yt video of a let's play? And the answer's quite simple: People at Something Awful forums years ago posted their own let's plays via screenshots of their gameplay, sometimes even adding their own stories to mix, which i'm planning to make in the future. And the stories that i've wanted to write for quite a while, i have a lot in mind but no idea how to execute, so i'll draft in the future and then finally post it on AO3.

What i'm going to do in the future?

To start, i'll be temporarily quitting my job at the supermarket to focus on work experience at the farm, specifically: Coffee. Since my country is one of the largest exporters of coffee beans, i might as well learn about farmign at stuff. But i'm not doing any planting stuff, i'm more of a person that makes a list on a computer to add how they're going, their numbers and more. But remember, i'm doing a test trial in the future, so i could either start working at the farm or continue at my old job

Soo... about my farm trip, well, it got delayed. For some reason it got cold all of sudden and my family had to delay the trip for now.

And that's all i've wanted to post. I've been quite inactive for plenty of time here due to my life and stuff... but i'm back here, for now. And now i'll try my hardest to bring my shitty art here, i hope you guys understand.

And my comics, well, in the future, i'll post it into the art forum here sooner or later.

I don't think we've ever talked, but I just want to say that after reading this I can tell you've really put a lot of thought into this. I can tell you're serious about what you want to do for your future and you're taking the necessary steps in order to achieve it. I also like that you have a backup job in case.

Your art is super cute! I adore what you are showing us so far. I wish you all the luck with your goals, I'm sure you'll reach them with enough hard work and determination. :3

Hiya!

Believe it or not, but I read every word and was both "brought up to speed" and entertained with your presentation. I look forward to your posts!

Your art work is adorable!

Wow. sounds like you have had ALOT of decisions to make. I love that you are working on your creative side!

Our community member npixelz also is on the autism spectrum as well & has had challenges working in a supermarket but it seems like he has had improvements. Npix also mentioned auditory issues influencing his work place in some of his posts. You are not alone!

Nice your family supports you working on the coffee farm. Do your family own a farm?
I have watched a program on Tea farms & the hard work it is to harvest teas leaves but I have not researched coffee farms although I watched a short program on the roasting of coffee beans. It must smell so yummy there!

I look forward to you sharing your comics and hearing how the coffee farm works out. Will you live on the farm or have to travel?

Thank you for all of your comments, it really brings an smile to me. And good to know i'm not only one with autism here, i was even hesitant to post about this, but i'm glad i did.

About the farm, we do have a house that's been recently finished, with furniture and everything. But we don't technically own an farm yet since i'll be working alongside my cousin for this. Bear in mind that i'll be like an internship as when it's done i'll decide to either start working there or continue on the supermarket.

I appreciate complementing on my art, even though it's technically not mine since i'm using Walfas for this and better than using AI for this even though i use it to satiate my boredom. But hey, not everyone knows how to draw and it's ok, everyone has it's flaws.

Good you have options, and you don't know until you try, right?

But I am curious as to what work goes into nurturing the trees until harvest & then the whole harvesting .
Will you also be roasting the coffee beans on the farm as well or do the beans get shipped off to be roasted?

We have companies near by that roast beans but do not grow them.
To me it sounds like wine making, many of the wineries do not actually grow their own, they purchase from different places to combine the grapes into their own brand.

Yes, if you look at the profiles of the Windlyn community, or their welcome hang out you, will find people who will share their different degrees of autism or/and ADHD. I just mentioned Npixelz because he works at night in a market stocking & arranging shelves, and it connected to your working at a supermarket.
Npixelz is also very creative poetically, one of our Windlyn poets, & does great puns.
