I'm going to China in October

Postby Cotton Cloudy » Mon Jun 22, 2015 10:04 am

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

I'm taking a trip to Yunnan, China for a Tea Master's course

If I pass the course I'll be a certified tea master.

Going to Yunnan has been a dream of mine for a long long time...because it believed to be the birth place of tea itself.

I have to learn as much Mandarin as I can in a couple months :o

This is my first time traveling overseas...and the first time I will be on a plane

Is it October yet?

No don't wish the summer away yet if not for the sake of the rest of us. :D I want august to come as slowly as possible so I don't have to start paying off student debt.

In all seriousness I hope you have fun in China. That sounds like a very cool experience.

Tea Master sounds awesome. I find the tea ceremonies intriguing, how cool that you get to take a course. Are you planning on opening a tea shop?

I've been to Szechuan which is just a bit north of Yunnan and they have really good spicy foods there. Really just try a lot of the local foods and street food which is always very good. Just make sure the person selling it is credible haha. I know they have a lot of different ethnicities in Yunnan so there's bound to be a lot of different foods you can try.
