What is pretty wild is the bodies that they find in Pompeii, molded by the ash, gone but hidden, revealed in the rock to become statues.

There are remnants of the inhabitants of Pompeii that were created by the super-hot volcanic ash flows. They're essentially statues today. Kinda morbid and horrific, but kinda cool in a sciencey way. Kinda?

the moment they are seen by any other living creature, they freeze into rock. No choice. It's a fact of their biology. In the sight of any living thing, they literally turn to stone. And you can't kill a stone. Of course, a stone can't kill you either. But then you turn your head away, then you blink, and oh yes it can.

It's amazing how much history lies buried under many European cities. Sometimes a sink hole reveals the treasures hidden below...

Then we know what we must do...

DESTROY ALL OF THE UK AND DIG IT UP TO FIND THE TREASURE IT HAS TO OFFER!

Then we shall not DESTROY ALL OF THE UK AND DIG IT UP TO FIND THE TREASURE IT HAS TO OFFER!
We shall instead request an expedition to uncover as much as possible while still being concours of the surrounding area
