parties or specific Halloween events do, we don't have any big events around where we live. But we do have a biggest pumpkin contest and some local farmers grow giant pumpkins - like 4-500 pounds sizes.

sounds interesting :> actually i was reading one of my little sister's books once, it was a story about a little girl genetically modifying all her vegetables to win a competition. she ended up taking it too far, with tomato plants growing pre-canned tomatoes, and berry bushes growing english breakfasts...

p funny. anyway, that's gigantic, gosh.

you can sit on giant pumpkins. When I first saw one I realized where the idea of turning a pumpkin into Cinderella's coach came from!

For a long time pumpkins did not seem "fashionable", then they kept creeping into the menu's and now there is like an explosion of items made with pumpkin or pumpkin spice flavoring

how much pumpkin can one person eat, really, before they explode from too much I mean. Can you overdose on pumpkin?

I did put some pumpkin spice flavored syrup in my coffee today. Saved myself $5 from going to Starbucks. How come Costco doesn't serve coffee, btw?

You'd see pumpkins instead of stars when you pass out :cheer:
No idea what costco is. Sounds like a supermarket tho. Why would a supermarket serve coffee?

Ok, pumpkin is a big part of the American Thanksgiving too, so I picked up some pumpkin pancake and waffle mix to try out for Thanksgiving breakfast (or sooner if I decide I just can't wait!). I think I'd rather have them as pancakes... I wonder what a complimentary topping should be...whipped cream and what?
