I remember my Mom doing cheese fondue parties but I'm not much of a fan for cheese - and its not much of a fan for my body.
I overheard someone saying that goat cheese has no lactose and that only cow's milk has lactose but I looked it up and that isn't correct. Goat milk and goat cheese are more easily tolerated by lactose intolerant people but goat milk does still contain small amounts of lactose.
"Cheese with trace levels (less than 0.5 gram lactose) Natural, aged cheese (such as Cheddar, Parmesan and Swiss) can be digested by many people with lactose intolerance. During the cheese making process, most of the lactose is drained off with the whey (a liquid portion)."
