I started playing Pokemon Go again the other day. I catch a lot of public transport so it keeps me amused

I don't have data on my phone, so I can't play Pokemon Go much, but I'm glad you're having fun

Mystic. There are a lot of Mystic led gyms near where I live so as a beginner it's good to just place my Pokemon on gyms that they're already taken over.

I try and send out gifts whenever i can so if you still play let me know if you want to exchange friend codes!

I played D&D today. My level 2 Tabaxi (Race of bipedal cat people) bard (Channels his magic through song/music) still can't go one combat encounter without carrying the team and then immediately losing all his HP towards the end of the fight.

Sounds fun! I've never heard of a Tabaxi. Did you take healing word or cure wounds? or do you run out of spells near the end, so you can't heal anymore? or do you just take an unlucky hit?

It's been so long since I've played dnd. D:

I rarely play Go.
Sounds like a fun time. I haven't played DnD in a long time

Yeah, it's not one of the races in the Player's Handbook, i had the idea and we used the Tabaxi race found in Volo's Guide to Monsters (5e)
Once i hit level 3 i'm planning of taking the College of Sword route for Bard so he actually mainly relies in close combat/his long sword instead of his baby three spell slots. Most of the encounters the enemies have been out of sword range so i had to rely on some of my damaging spells. I had one spell slot reserved for healing but the enemy did 14 damage and he only has 13 HP  So he was downed but i didn't have to make any saving throws because one of the party was close enough to stabilize him. It's been a while for me too, in one group there's always someone that's working or busy and in the other group another member keeps having to cancel the game plans last minute.

hmm, you could try picking up a hand crossbow, some daggers, or one of the simple ranged weapons: light crossbow, darts, shortbow, or sling. That way you wont have to use your spells just because you're out of melee range. And you can always fall back when things are starting to get too dangerous.

It's hard to get everyone together regularly. :(

In that same battle one of the enemies dropped a hand crossbow that I looted! He's proficient with it too :cheer:

Yeah it is, but we're hoping to do a 3-4 session oneshot story in the upcoming school break so fingers crossed we'll all be available!
