Yea, a lot of multiplayer games can get. Incredibly frustrating, especially when you're not playing with just friends. Strangers can get really verbally abusive and demeaning on the internet over their own mistakes >.> sometimes to the point of stalking you over other sites just to harass you.

I was pretty good at a genre of games and one game in particular (got my first computer game magazine writing gig in part due to that) and would have people stalk me to challenge me. I guess you could call it harassment, but my rage quitting episodes have typically been due to me sucking at that game (or the game being designed in a way that made it unfair in my mind to actually beat it).

In any case, there's no excuse for bad behaviour on the internet.

lol the only Multi-Player game I like is PUBG, more so when we are given the choice to play with our own friends

I play the Kart du la Mario, and the Brothers du la Smash, but thats about it in terms of competitive multi player games, and even then I mostly play by myself. Even if I play with others I play with friends, not randos

I'm 1+ week into the internship and it's an experience haha. Corporate design is a whole different scale than I'm used to, but I'm learning a lot! I haven't been in person with this many people since COVID started so it's a great way to get out of my shell.

I love Potion Craft!! I have so many hours in that game too, but I'm at point where I can't effectively progress until they add new maps xD So it's a waiting game now
If anyone wants to get it though, I'd say the first ~20 hours of gameplay are worth it for the ASMR value alone! The sound design is really well done

Ps. May I introduce Garden Galaxy on Steam, you might enjoy it

Glad to hear that the internship has been well!

I've been fooling around Potion Craft by doing random recipe challenges (least amount of ingredients, most price-efficient recipe, etc) and writing down little blurbs and descriptions for each bookmarked potion. Can't wait for new bases and monster part ingredients - hope we'll get something like vinegar and wine bases, or even customers who insist their potion must be vegan.

Love the crushing and clinking sounds - hate how there is one single background music on loop. May the update add new BGMs.

Hey, that's wonderful!

Keep in mind that if you don't get re-upped, it may not be a reflection on your work. Companies change all of the time and budget this and that, etc..

Either way, you'll have something nice to add to your resume, but the biggest thing is you'll gain some experience which will build your confidence. The unknowns will be far fewer next time around.

Have you gone through orientation or did they put you directly to work? Can you share what you're doing/working on?
