140 years is pretty amazing! Not the same owners I assume and name only. Same location?

The OG founder is long dead, yes, but one of his descendants is still the president of the entire company, and i work at the home facility, though it's certainly not where the company started. It moved jn the 80s to the current location, iirc
Theres other facilities in other states as well

Started as a partnership, then the two split paths
Iirc the company started as leak-proof kerosene containers sold via catalog
And now we do other things. My facility is handheld sprayers. There's another that's birdhouses, feeders, suet cakes, etc. A third does big ATV size sprayers, they've got water hoses, they're developing some sort of...something that involves making FLAMETHROWERS. All sorts of stuff. Home and garden, mostly
Tho I know some stuff is industrial

Fun! A flamethrower for weed control... A really bad idea here in California. I bet they're banned here.

I think Elon Musk (Tesla) sold flamethrowers. They were high tech (at least looking), but I think they were used for showing off rather than anything.

Those guys in development have all of the fun!

At work today the low material alarm for the line I was on went off and I stead of going "gotta call for a mechanic" my brain went "THE WAVES ARE COMING GET IN THE WAVE POOL" cuz local amusement park uses the same kind of alert for the waves incoming

Oh and at the end of the Thursday shift last week my lead described his job as "a pain in the dick" (I had numbers eaten from my Tuesday shift and had let him know so he could fix it)
My one coworker the one who started dancing, is a pain in his ass. Man should see a doctor about all that pain in one area XD

Still wrapping my head around people using those.

Is the equipment as old as the company?? Might be time for upgrades.

Nah. Two of the machines have been here less than me and the others have gotten upgrades since I started

It's not literal. Like you're not experiencing an actual pain in the ass when you call someone one
