Life updates! I'm in college for my Associates in Cybersecurity!~
Before that I did a year and a half of Nursing but hated it and dropped it. Also, I'm 23 now! Oh how time flies!

Better to have figured out the nursing part before you got into it too far. I give you credit for recognizing it wasn't for you instead of just finishing it. If you decide to go into a different aspect of the medical field later at least you have a preliminary base to work off.

Cybersecurity is such a needed field now. My work sends us fake phising emails to see if we click on them. Usually i do pretty good & report them, sometimes I just delete them without reporting.

Hiii! Oh wow it's been over a year since I came back and checked this site that's crazy how I come back in cycles... anyways it's going good atm!!! I just got my associates in the spring for Science
I do not have work in this specific industry yet... hoping soon! *crosses fingers*

If you're looking for in subject work, think about public jobs (government, Post Office, Police, letter agencies, military, etc.). They are expanding and it's a growth industry as Lemon said. Have you applied anywhere?

Yes I am liking it for now, I don't understand 100% of it but I am understanding like 75% of what I'm taking in which is goo!

Yeah the 2FA and MFA authentications? Or those codes lol. They are trying to get a handle on internet security which is good.

Yes! I should have only 2 more years before I obtain my degree.

Yea I did know about government jobs for sure, that's mostly who is hiring apart from some companies that need security people.

Sure thing! I have not applied at the moment as I am trying to continue using FAFSA. If I take internships it takes time from my classwork and probably doesn't pay well for people without a degree or experience. At the moment I work under the table so that helps me pay bills while being able to continue getting FAFSA.

Have you checked out the websites for businesses/companies that you may be interested at working at & see what requirements their career pages are looking for? Might be helpful in planning classes & whether they hire for summer.

Look for internships that have a good percentage of hiring interns. That's the quickest way to get started building a resume'.
