I took the "avoid talking about what happened last time" route, it seemed to have worked

Ya, twas quite eventful, but last night was better, so I am indeed doing alright, thank ya!
Good luck, my friend!
Au as in autistic? If do I'm AuDHD, too! So it's nice to know someone who shares my pain
Oh nice! I should really get into programming since my dream is to make games and write stories
Oh cool! What sorta things have ya knitted and spun so far?

Agreed, big changes indeed

Last night was alright, he was a bit rude at first, but I just kept being polite. Called him "sir" a lot, even though I don't have much respect for him. I suppose I was nervous
After a few bumps, things smoothed out and I got a lot done
And now I won't be in again until AFTER inventory is done, so things should hopefully go back to normal

audits always bring on a stressful atmosphere.

Glad things went better.

Are you still off for Halloween then?

Last night was good! Got up on time, ate dinner, walked the dog, cleaned the kitchen, etc. Helped my mom clean out the trailer. Watched the latest episode of Agatha All Along with me mum. Had a lovely conversation about Pokemon characters and versions with someone on Discord. Watched videos. Played Pokémon. Read my book. Started a movie but didn't finish it. And just had a good time

Ooo, that's exciting! Big changes!!

Yeah! It's kinda surreal just living together now. They're just here  we no longer have to plan visiting each other and feeling like we have to make the most of each visit.
Luckily it wasn't too bad moving, they just have a large room's worth of stuff (bedroom + desk), darkroom stuff, and blacksmithing stuff.
Also, they just interviewed for a job today and it went well!

I'm glad to hear

Yes autistic and ADHD combo! ADHD I've known about for a few years (the psychiatrist I was going to for anxiety/depression had ADHD herself and recognized the signs), autism I've only realized in the past year because turns out I've been in autistic burnout. I'm in recovery currently, living back with my parents and taking things slow.

I moved to CO -> NY around the beginning of this year, a few months after that my partner moved CO -> PA and we did long-ish distance, and now they're PA -> NY. It's been quite the adventure.

You should give programming a try! I know for me getting the ball rolling on things is quite difficult, even if I'm interested, especially if I don't know where to start. Once I got myself taking classes at my local community college and there's structure it's been great. I'm taking intros to C++ and Python.

I've knitted a bunch of things! https://www.ravelry.com/people/Phenolphthalein is my ravelry page, you can view my projects there. And I've spun a bunch of things too! Most of them are on ravelry too, I like to keep a semi-accurate yarn inventory (ya know, data/organization hyperfixation and all...).
This is a long reply already and I gotta go eat dinner but feel free to ask more about my fiber arts

Nice!

Oof. For me I knew I had ADHD since way young, but only found out about the autism after an anger episode when I was I think 16... on Halloween night. My mom had me tested for several things thrice, but they kept saying it was only ADHD. And my psychiatrist made it worse by increasing my meds to control my anger, even though a side effect of the meds was increased anger. Needless to say we stopped booking appointments with him. Anyways, I hope your recovery goes well!

Not sure what those letters mean, but it sounds like you guys have bounced around
Yeah, I'm just worried I'll pay for courses then lose motivation and quit, thus wasting my money. Though, if there is some sort of structure and someone on me to keep going, I might just be able to do it. Tell me once you get to A++ learning! Jkjk

I can't see the page without creating an account ;-;

I hope your dinner tastes good!

Last night was good, though the start was not, as I woke from a nightmare. But we had tacos, and I watched some Over the Garden Wall with my sister. Was going to watch stuff sith my mom, but she fell asleep as I was cleaning the kitchen, so I chatted on Discord voice with my friend, watching him finish Jedi Fallen Order on Jedi Master difficulty, and restart on Grand Master difficulty, with a new outfit for the Mc. I watched videos. I played Minecraft. I chatted with my gf, and played Minecraft with her. And I just had a good time

community college courses are a great idea, online accredited classes can also work...the ideal is to not overload yourself so that you will complete them.

Learning is always fun & it may lead to other job opportunities.

Aaaaaaaaaa! Halloween! Event! Excitement overload!

Yeeee

Last night was good. Work went well, though it seemed like my entire upper body was in pain. Both shoulders, lower and upper back, right wrist. Still, all things considered I did well. Sadly phones aren't allowed anymore because some people abused it

Now I am SO excited for tonight!

Oh lovely, yeah emotional regulation is... a roller coaster lol
It's so frustrating when meds make things worse when they're supposed to be helping!
I'm really glad that people are learning more about neurodivergence and how it can show up differently for different people. Sadly, not all medical professionals are up to date on things.

The letters are different states in the US, Colorado (CO), New York (NY), and Pennsylvania (PA).

Oh no! I forgot that ravelry be like that. I don't know what the system is for posting photos here. Maybe I'll figure out how to share some.

You could definitely find online stuff for learning programming. I find that if I use a free thing, there may not be enough accountability. But there's moderately priced things out there too. I really benefit from actually having to go to campus for an in-person lab twice a week.

Also, Over the Garden Wall is awesome. I was only introduced to it last year, but I love it.

   HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEN HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEN!!
My favorite holiday! Despite my failure to prepare for it year after year :cheeky:

Agreed
Ikr!?
Yeah, but it's getting better little by little

Ahhhhhh, ok!

Ya. Good luck, because I wanna see the stuff!

Yeah, only problem is, if I pay for something and then lose motivation and drop it, I'll have wasted my money, that's why I need someone to push me to keep going

Yeyeye!

Mine, too! Oof lol

Did you dress up this year?
