oh npix, I am so sad to hear of your Grandma's passing. I had a difficult time when my Grandma passed, even though I knew she was ill.
Your sadness shows what a great impact she had on your life. I bet your Grandpa will appreciate you spending time with him. Older people who have been together for a long time go through a period of feeling lost when they lose their spouse. He will need lots of love.

I am glad to hear your co=wokers have been supportive for you.

K2 was a better Threepio, imo
Thank you!

Yeah. I haven't really seen her for years now, because she's been sick, but I always hoped she'd get better so we could visit, so suddenly realizing I hadn't seen her for years and now there was no chance of seeing her again just got to me.
I think my grandpa appreciates the visit, it's good to be surrounded by loved ones in times like this

Today was good, woke up around 830 am, puttered around, not really rushing, my mom drove us, took about 6 and a half hours. We stopped a few times, once for lunch, once for washroom and a drink, and another time for washroom. I was really tired, slept a tiny bit in the van while mom drove, then some more on the couch when we got there. One of my aunts also stopped in, we had a good dinner, which grandpa insisted on cleaning up mostly himself (said he'd been taken care of by people for a week and didn't want to be looked after any longer). I watched some videos, and watched another episode of Tracker with my mom

Now I'm quickly doing this before heading to bed

A good reminder to keep in contact with those we care about because we don't know how long we have here on earth.

Glad your visit with your Grandpa was uplifting for him. Send him a text or letter or give him a call occasionally to let him know he is always close in your heart.

Your Mom is amazing, that is a long way to drive. She must be exhausted from all the diving & the emotional impact. Was it her Mother who passed then?

Yeah
It's going well so far, yeah. Good idea
She was quite exhausted. No, her mother died years before I was even adopted, this was her dad's second wife

Today was also good. Relaxed mostly, but also went shopping and helped my grandpa do some gardening. Finished Tracker, so that's nice. Played Pokemon and Smash. Watched videos. Had fun

Only problem was I stubbed my toe getting out of bed at 10 am. It's now 10 pm and it still hurts

Stubbed toes... I hate when I do that. The last time I did it I must have damaged the nail bed. It took months for the nail to grow out. :(

Ouch!

Imagine my surprise when I opened Windlyn and found myself to be the Random Winner!

Today was good. Mostly just relaxing and socializing. My mom went to visit her friend and was supposed to come back by 12 for lunch, I looked at the time at 3 and figured it was too late for lunch, finally she came back at 320 and we had a very small lunch.
I watched videos, took quizzes, played games, chatted on Discord, and even chatted with my friends via vc
Now I'm going to bed so I can get up in the morning and get ready to leave for home!

I forgot you were away from home ... ouch! stubbed toes seem to take so long to heal ... I haven't got any quick fix know how's for that one unfortunately.

I hope your Mom is having some nice visits with old friends & family she hasn't seen for awhile. Nice you could be there for her. Long drive home again?

Ye. Yeah, but it seems better now! I don't feel any pain at least
Yeah, she seems to be enjoying it. I try! Yup! It was I think from 10 am to 6 pm?

Indeed!
Thanksy! About 7 hours, 8 with added stops

Yesterday was good. Woke up on time, got ready and left. Visited mom's cousin for 30 min, hit the road again. I slept for awhile on the road so I could stay up late-ish (which I have done). We listened to music and chatted, I played some games. Had some more stops for refreshments, my mom bought new crocs, and I cleaned the windshield for the first time ever. Then we got home, ate pizza, I watched videos, played more games, read, and chatted with friends. I did my laundry, cleaned the kitchen, made my mom's lunch. I had fun. Now I'm going to go to bed, and wake up at 6 pm to see Thunderbolts with me sis!

Welcome home!

Long trips like that are one of those things that feel good when they're done! They also make you appreciate home (and my own bed and pillow especially!).

Agreed!

Last night was good! Watched Thunderbolts with my sister. Did some chores. Had tacos. Played games, watched videos, used Discord bot, chatted with my gf over Discord text, read some of my book, and had fun

Welcome home!

I always like being home in my own bed too.

Car trips can be a good bonding time, but also bring out temperaments, haha

Ye!
True, but thankfully this one was smooth driving!

Last night was good. Had chicken thingies and fries for dinner. Watched videos. Went to work and did well enough. Read my book on break. Got home. Watched another video. Used the Discord bot. Played games. Read even more. Chatted about dragons. Had fun

I work again tonight and then I'm off until Thursday

No, just my schedule
Oof

Last night was great! Got up at a good time, had hotdogs, watched videos, went to work. Work itself was good, I got a lot done and was even allowed to have an extra break at the end of the shift! Then I walked home and watched more videos

On break and at home I continued reading my book, which I'm having a hard time putting down often

Now I'm off until Thursday. Me mum wants me to wake at 530 pm so we can do some basement cleaning and start watching Doctor Who
