Wings: Friendship bracelets for Christmas gifts?

Do you bead or use embroidery thread to make them or use some other medium?

Embroidery floss and yarn both. I have used beads but I have to use a needle to thread them on. They are the chevron ones and they are really pretty my mom says.

That is a great idea for giving them as Christmas gifts. If I can get enough done in time I may give them out as gifts. I don't want to overwhelm myself either.

Yes, definitely don't overwhelm yourself! You want them to be a labor of love not of frustration! I just like to try to make one Christmas item each year. I think it goes back to appreciating receiving something someone has taken the time to make for me.

If I can I put on a show & have it going on in the background while I do my crafting or baking.

Alright, I have my sauce base done & simmering ... I am making noodleless lasagna tonight & going to bake some gluten free cookies while I have the oven on ... HEALTHY eating... oh and maybe some parmesan crisps while I am at it ( no carb!)
