Some people were doing a gaming night for the New Year.

I myself did a gaming night until 10 to 12 on the final night

I stayed up til like almost 2am, then decided to go to bed.

I had been woken up that morning by maintenance due tonmy water heater breaking and flooding the apartment below me, so they had to replace it. So I was tired, didnt get much sleep.

Oh no! Especially for the folks below you! That sucks... well, at least it wasn't sewer water. I had that happen to me once. The folks above us had their toilet start leaking... at least it wasn't dripping into my bedroom... stuff of nightmares!

That reminds me of that one show about a rich family who gets their money stolen and have to move to the one investment they didn't lose; a small town the father acquired as a joke. In it, they have to stay at a motel, and water starts dripping on the dad's face while he tries to sleep, which turns our to be from a clogged toilet

Oh boy! It does happen I'm sure. The place I was living in was very "standardized" so the floor plans on each floor was identical, so the bathrooms lined up. Still, nightmares. It'd be bad enough if it were my own/our own sewage, but the neighbors? Aghhh!
