Last night was good! Woke late, had leftovers for dinner, chatted with family friends who were there for a Christmas party, went to work. Work went well enough. At home I chatted on Discord vc, then joined a different Discord vc and played a session of the SNP I'm in, just s different version and just to mess around. Unfortunately I had tonchat sith my mom, plus it was bed time, so I had to leave early. Other than that, I played games, watched videos, had fun



Now I work one more night and am off two. Next week is the first session of the SMP!

Last night was bad. Started well enough, got up late, had pizza, watched videos, went to work. At work I was immediately lectured by my supervisor because I left one half of one aisle unfinished the previous night, and something in me just... snapped. I didn't say anything at first, but my anger increased and increased and increased, seemingly with no stopping point. I vented to a coworker, it didn't help. The supervisor came by to say something and I just snapped at him and said "have you come by to explain more about how I've failed the store, and society itself?" Finally I just couldn't take it and I left work at 12:20 (I got there at 10:45). My mom commiserate but said she's trying to figure out how to deal with this guy already, and me leaving early makes it harder on her. Then I got home and read the rest of the night

Hmm ... I don't know how that will turn out. Sounds like there has already been an issue with this supervisor.
Is he like that with everyone?
Did he actually say you have failed the store & society or is that your interpretation?

I mean, it is his job to mention when something has not been completed. I have to remind myself that when my boss says stuff, it is her job to report to me whether I am failing at achieving the goals I am supposed to be accomplishing.

So I get it, I hate when my boss tells me my transactions are taking too long because the reports she gets say I should be quicker but seriously they don't give us enough time especially when we are dealing with humans that don't know what they want or don't understand how things work & at the same time I have to multi task at other things because I am by myself.

I hope you can resolve it amicably, without being written up.

True, but he doesn't do it well. He never listens to my side, even after asking for it. He gets mad if I don't do things he never properly communicated to me telling me to do. He gets mad if I do things he never properly communicated to me telling me not to do. He often ignores my needs and accommodations I asked for, even though they've been put in place. He expects me to do things his way, even though, as a neuro divergent person I just can't work like that. Even when I do a really good job he doesn't praise me unless I specifically ask "did I do a good job?" (or however other ways I phrase it). If I do even a tiny bit less than what he asked, he jumps on me demanding explanations (which he doesn't listen to).

I know what you mean, but the actual night crew manager is actually understanding. Like my mananager will tell me if I need to speed up, yes, but he will also actually listen to explanations, actually give advice, actually accept that I need certain accommodations (as I am neuro divergent), actually tell me when I need to speed up or be more thorough in a calm manner, and actually praise me without needing to be prompted

Last night was better. Woke way late, had chicken fingers and fries for dinner, did several chores. I watched videos, played games. I played a bit of the SMP I'm in (just a oneshot session), before my gf messaged me wanting attention because it's her birthday today, so I then chatted with her and joined a Minecraft server with her, I chatted on Discord (both vc and text), continued my rewatch of Amaxing Digital Circus, and wrote more of my story



Now I'm off tonight and work tomorrow. Not looking forward to working tomorrow, in fact it's hanging over me ad a cloud of dread, but here's hoping it's not too bad

It sounds like the one manager is okay to work with, is there a way to get on his shift?

Sometimes we just have to "grin" and bear it because we are getting paid. It is just nicer when the work environment can be more on the pleasant side because it is not necessary or nice to put up with impolite or obnoxious people.

I hope when you go back you get a pleasant surprise.

My mom has told me that I shouldn't request specific days of the week off, because I'm supposed to be flexible with my schedule since I'm a part timer

I woke late but managed to finish my subscriptions before work, had pizza. Work went well, got everything done and a bit extra. Then I was called in to the management office, where I was told my performance wasn't good recently, shown pictures of times I had missed things, told I was warned about it three times (the warnings I received didn't even sound like official warnings), and got suspended from work for one day, meaning next Sunday (my next shift) I'm not going in
So yeah, fun times
I f**king hate my job




But yeah, what can you do
