That was a fun power outage
Flickering lights and everything, so mom n I had to scramble to unplug her stuff. I've got most of mine plugged back in, just missing one outlet (which is just chargers and a light) in the living room, one in the dining room (a light that i don't use cuz I don't use said room much), and one in the basement (dad's electric log splitter, that one can stay unplugged for now)
My friend and her coworkers are butthurt cuz they only got a couple flickers and they wanted the power to go fully out for an early leave LOL
Was several hours long, with temps dropping twenty degrees in about five hours at most. Thankfully the fire works even without power and it was able to warm the house some even without the fan

They outlawed traditional fireplaces in new construction here in California. (You can have pellet stove/heater inserts last I recall, but they may have outlawed them too--many cities have banned natural gas appliances.) Lucky it doesn't get insane cold here because our power goes out more than it should given our "good" weather.

This many power outages this year is unusual. Though considering the weather...
Usually we get none a year, not even a flicker...unless a bulb goes out
