Car's front wheel drive only
Eh, four wheel doesn't really. It just helps with getting up and going. Won't help much if you giddyup and go into a ditch, which happens rather regularly here

Currently have one, with cold and wind

Yup. And the majority of them are quite deep, since they make them to accommodate the spring snowmelt

I wish I knew of ways you could easily heat up your house ... even bundling up in extra layers or blankets the nose still stays cold.

Hope you are finding ways to stay warm!

If the bathroom were downstairs I'd have blocked the upstairs off when it first got cold
I am staying warm, I don't mind being fully under the blanket. Neither does Doink, if she doesn't want to be in front of the fire
So cold my iPad wasn't charging so I had to shove it under the blankets

Cold is cold. Has it been this cold before? Seems from the news this winter is worse than usual for mid and east.

Is upstairs warmer? Science class said it should be if everything else being equal.

Upstairs is colder
Heat rises, yes, but when the heat is limited it can only go so far

Understood.

Can a small portable heater be used in your bathroom? I don't know how people used to use outhouses in the winter, but I do understand "when you gotta go, you gotta go!"

I do have one, it's in my bedroom. And I really should, tomorrow is supposed to be even colder
But at the same time I don't want it in there while I shower. Don't wanna damage it

Warm it up before you shower. The shower itself probably heats up the room after.

The good news is small ceramic heaters are low cost (under $30 -- one of the best investments ever) and should be more than enough for a bathroom. The question is whether your house wiring can handle the heater amperage requirements. Dad might know if your bath outlets can handle 10 or 12 amps.

There's only one outlet in the bathroom
Most to all of the rooms have two. I believe there's only two that have more than that
Several are two prong only (like one of the two in my bedroom)
There's (disconnected) knob and tube wiring within the walls still

Anyway went to go shopping and someone plowed the end of my driveway. Prolly my uncle this time, cuz definitely a plow blade. Had to do a bit of shoveling for the parts missed cuz awkward angle cuz of the car being right there
And then I went shopping and of my shopping list of four things I missed one of them. At least the cereal cups are sold at work ._.

More snow or just more drift? I don't remember you have this much snow over a winter before...

You'll need a 3 prong outlet. An (3 prong of course) extension cord could work if it's not too far away.
