When I do work, it's usually from around 6p to 4a (not that full block, just fits within that timeframe), but it's an on-call sort of deal. I don't know if I'm not going until around 10p, so I have to stay ready to jump ship for about four hours before I can safely stand down.

Thank you for the good wishes!

I can take tomorrow off so I hope to do a lot of sleeping so I can get this virus out of my system ... talking so much at work with a mask did NOT help my throat.

Oh ... Kit also sometimes works a night shift ... I don't think I could handle it.

It's all down to your circadian rhythm, just like people have different body types. I find it really hard to stay up when it's really bright out and there's a lot of noise. It's just so comforting, I keep dozing off.

Hi!!! Between my lupus, cancer, school, work and raising my kids, I keep forgetting to come on here. I'm trying my best lol. A lot has been happening. My boyfriend and I broke up because he wanted an open relationship and I did not. I made honor society at school, I had surgery for my cancer, I need another surgery then radioactive iodine therapy. I got accepted into the Dempsey Center for Cancer Support, it was created by Patrick Dempsey because his mother had cancer and he was appauled by the lack of support she was able to get. I get free massages, acupuncture, reiki, group therapy, individual therapy and nutrition support. I'm super excited.

How is everyone?

Welcome back Shamus!

I have been concerned about you but it sounds like even in the darkest moments there are positive things going on!

Congratulations on making honor society! You work hard!

Wow, very nice you thought to apply at the cancer support group & that you got accepted. I am relieved you are getting help to transverse this cancer journey. I have friends & family who have had to deal with cancer & it is not easy, so many unknowns but the good thing is that there are always new research coming out.

Sorry about the boyfriend because you were so excited but maybe during this time it is better to focus on your kids & your own healing.

I am sick with a cold virus - in March ! And it has been hot here! I usually get sick in January! But I am not going to gripe, I am thankful it is just a virus and my body will be stronger afterwards from it.

You are brave, Shamus, you have much going for you so stay positive, lean on the support group & love of your family.

I'm really happy for you, Shamrock Shamus! I'm sorry you hit a rough patch, but I'm glad things are looking up.

I'm time-sharing devices with kind friends and family until I can get a good computer replacement. The new normal!
