Npix, it is very sobering & humbling when I come across people who have all these difficulties in life & yet are so positive. Very inspirational & grounding too as to what truly is important. All about attitude.
There are so many people with the entitled attitude & really, none of us is entitled. Some have been more fortunate than others & we have to remember that it all could be taken away at anytime. So be grateful in all circumstances & work to make things better for those that have not been as blessed or favored.
What counts is what we do with, how we use, the situations we are dealt. The old saying "no time like the present" and treat others like you would like to be treated - or my favorite, try to leave this place better than how you found it.
I think of our Windlyn member Vivianne, she could barely speak, barely see, barely eat & barely move & yet she typed away inspiration to us every opportunity she could. She was an inspiration, she had the right to wallow in the hand life dealt her but she rose above it & chose to fight until the end, and even then she kept a positive attitude regardless of her suffering.
