Last night was mixed. I woke on time and had pizza for dinner. My dad helped me finally hang up my posters. But every conversation I had with my mom she'd get mad at me, saying I had an angry tone, or I was arguing too much. Even when I tried to be nice and said "I have a kind family who helps me.", she said "then why don't you speak nicer to us?" Like, that's literally what I was doing when I said that. I wasn't even angry most of the time, just tired and not as "joyful" as I can sometimes be. And she kept doing things she knows I don't like. I'll sometimes lightly poke my family on their knee or whatever, and so she decided to forcefully jab my arms while I was using my phone, jerking my hands in the process, and when I said "can you not?", she was like "oh but you poke me all the time!" And then, when she KNEW I was going to go into a room and sit on a chair, she farted in the chair (not on purpose but she could have left the room) and when I said how I hate when people fart in rooms I'm about to go to, she just started making toilet humor, which she KNOWS I hate, like I abhor that kind of "humor." Finally, while I was on the toilet, she tried to give me instructions, knowing I don't like to talk while on the toilet, so I said politely "can you wait until I'm out of the washroom?" And she was all "but are you on the toilet or in it?" And I finally was just like "can you not?" And SHE got mad! Like what the heck



The rest of the night went well. I did some chores, played games, took quizzes, chatted on Discord, watched videos, read a bit, had fun





Now I work tonight which will hopefully go well

hmmm sounds like something is up with your Mom. Has she been unwell lately?
Do you notice any difference in how she interacts with your Sister or Dad?
Maybe talk to your Sister about it if there is, she could have a medical issue going on.
Do you think she was testing you to see how much irritation you could take before exploding - like bringing you to a melting point you might experience at work?

Otherwise maybe have a "loving" sit down with your Mom to ask what is going on.
Remind her, in a nice way, nobody likes to be given instructions to or carry on a conversation behind a closed door, better to be face to face where a person can actually hear.
First take a look at how you have been, have you been annoyingly poking or doing similar things she has been doing to you?
Maybe she is trying to make you aware of how it causes others to feel?

Hopefully it was just a "one off" kind of thing.

Before work last night we talked it over


I have poked her before but usually not on the forearm and never jabbing.
I'd tell her about not liking behind closed doors, but she carries full conversations with people while she's on the toilet so I don't think she understands that concept


Anyway we're all good now






Last night was bad. I woke late, had a good supper, went to work
I did not stay at work. I was brought into an office and given a three shift suspension disciplinary action. I was told that on numerous occasions recently I failed to finish tasks assigned to me. I was told to talk to a union representative if I have questions (but one such union rep was in the meeting taking notes, and this particular guy is am assistant manager so shouldn't even BE a union rep, furthermore; he has never been on my side for anything, he has consistently been accusatory and confrontational, and he has straight up lied to my job coach about certain previous events), so I took a picture of the contact info of one such person, signed the paper (which I probably shouldn't have done) and went straight home.
My family was understanding, and my mom said she'll probably contact the union, and that it might be time to seek out a different job

Other than that my night was good. I watched Hunter X Hunter with my sister, chatted in Discord text and vc, played games, watched videos, took quizzes, read a bit, and had fun




Now I'm off until next Wednesday

Glad you resolved the issue with your Mom.

Not sure what you can do about work.
Are you a union member? Sometimes that makes a difference on how you are treated.
If you ARE a member then you do have certain things they will fight for you about, if you are not, they tend to threaten so you will join (which means paying monthly dues) or try to get you to lose your job so one of their members can take the job.

When was the last time you did not complete the task assigned to you? Has it been awhile? Can you show improvement? Was it on a day when your job coach was there?
Is what is assigned to you something you or anyone else doing the task could accomplish in the time allotted to complete it?

Glad to hear you and mom cleared the air.

Sorry to hear about work. Do you agree you failed to accomplish assigned tasks? I used to carry a small flip notebook and pen (would fit in the spiral) and would write the date and list a to-do list for that day. I'd draw a line through each item I'd complete and would keep checking the list. Anything left from the previous day moved to the next date. Surprisingly simple hack!
