Those are great parts. Pick a motherboard and you're good to go.

I've only been to one Mircrocenter (hours away). I always see doorbuster deals they have (in store only), so I guess living far away is a good thing. :/

Biggest issue is compatibility. That CPU has major horsepower.

The motherboard will dictate what kind of RAM you can use and how much will work. That Puget systems site has a system configurator that can give you some ideas to consider.

It's far better to know what you're getting than find out your got incompatible parts (don't ask me why I know this!).

The good news is your selections so far are so high end that it limits your options. (As opposed to being nearly universal where anything will work.)

I think I might need to scale down a bit, actually. I don't think I really need a $20k rig. But I'm still not sure what I do need.
