I hope it's as good as I remember. I recall the original HeMan cartoon being hilariously bad upon rewatch. I don't know about the newer version. Looks pretty epic, actually.

I mean, I'm not surprised. It was based on the toy line, rather than the reverse. Minimum effort to maximize profits. However, Transformers were much the same, and while not what I'd call the epitome of cinematic art, it's certainly watchable. Hm, maybe it's due to what constitutes as 'bare minimum' between cultures.

Well the Bionicle movies were based on the toys, but the ones I've seen I loved

Oh, that's a blast from the past. My baby brother was nuts over those guys.

I loved Bionicle, sometimes even more than regular Lego



I had quite the collection of both



Until.... the incident...



I got in trouble and was grounded. They took away my Bionicles and most of my Lego figures (specifically the ones I had customized and loved the most). My dad was supposed to keep them and give them back at the end of the month so long as I stayed on good behavior, but if I didn't stay on good behavior he was supposed to throw them out


I stayed on good behavior but due to a mix up he threw them out


I was devastated

Still am a little, lol
