You are right, nothing you can do so you might as well keep busy & get paid because from what you have said about him he probably would be happy you did.

Prayers for a speedy recovery for him. He sounds like an amazing Dad.

I've heard of a few people lately having the microstrokes.

Hopefully he will have a thorough physical & blood work up to see if anything is "off" to keep from having another.

It looks like TIA clears itself up so they sent him home. That's good news. Welcome home, dad!

Has he been under more stress than usual lately? It seems the people that I know who've had bouts had a lot of anxiety when it happened. Through the roof blood pressure seems to be common as well, but it's hard to say whether the anxiety or the micro-clot causes that (or both).

They're not sure how or why dad had it, but no new damage

Only new stress i can think of was his mom dying last weekend

Were you close to your Grandma at all?

Eh, not really. She lived in Ohio, so i hadn't seen her in something like a decade or so

I'm very sorry for your loss. There are few things as moving as a death of a parent. It would be unusual to not be affected. Really so glad dad is OK.

No idea. She lives three states away from us

Yeehaw another week overnight! The one supervisor is getting tired of the hours, QC reallllllllllllllly wants me back on days, the other supervisor is not surprised that I'm more than willing to stay on nights

Technically no, everyone is on days, we're just running some sort of special circumstances right now
