Hello Kitten! Love the name!

Roses are red, violets are blue, if I could think of a poem, I'd write one for you.

Truly my wonderful friend, you understood what this place is for! I love all the things you have named as well! Cheesecake is an ideal dessert and I love the pillow fight being where one gets feathers!

Many thanks for the compliments, very humbly I applaud you for understanding the subtle (not so subtle) meanings.

Npixelz has been our Windlyn Poet, you can see their works scattered through the forums. Galled's signature hosts one of Npix's creative works.

Perhaps we can summon Npixelz to write a poem in here! :cheer:

Oh goodness, all the times people have said, "They should have sent a poet," this is the type of person they were talking about! I feel like I'm liable to meet royalty.

To the grass patch I was called
To not be stopped, nor stalled
For a poem was asked of me
So a poem they would see
The kitten gave me kind words
Kindest I had ever heard
Humbly I accepted the praise
Though it left me in a daze
To write for a loving crowd
To hear them shout my name loud
Was a feeling of such bliss
And a feeling I would miss
Your feelings of excitement I accept
I hope this poem is one you would expect
But for now I must end the lines
I've got no more rhyming in my mind

Bravo, fair bard! I hath called for something befitting of our regal clearing in the forest and found even my well honed pallet pleased. If ever you need something to help in your noblest of trades you'll find our bottles of inspiration well aged and our squirrels to have wonderful feathers a mere nib away from an excellent writing quill.

Both of you dazzle with your wordsmithing!

Kitten, I saw in your sig you depublished some of your writing. What kind of stuff (genres) do you like to write?

I wrote some dark fantasy, some body horror, some slice of life, really it largely depended on which of the spirits were going through me that day.

I had to look up what body horror is. I like good zombie movies, but I think it's about how the characters figure out how to survive. Not so much for blood and gore just for blood and gore.

Slice of life can be interesting. Well, i think relationships are interesting! :)

I would say I wrote with a strong focus on the relationship itself and less on the meet-cute.
