My dad seemed to have an easier time hiding things inside as there were only so many places to hide things out in the yard. It had became easy to guess after while.

I had an aversion to eating the eggs that were used in the hunt, being on the ground and all. Made more sense to used the plastic ones that could hold bits of candy and stickers etc anyway.

Now I feel like hiding treats around the house for Cooper XD

I've done it before lol
We got a dog puzzle box which would make more sense but it should be cleaned.

I loved Easter egg hunts a sa kid although we fortunately never had to look for the real boiled eggs...probably an aversion for the possibility of them going bad? Ours was a basket to look for and then a chocolate bunny...the solid kind not the hollow. With so many kids we had our names on the baskets so we didn't take someone else's stuff and it was all even.

Has Cooper learned "tricks" to do?

Indeed.
Yeah, true.
Lol.

Yeah!

Oh nice.

We have a big chocolate bunny each every year in my family. Though in the past it's been hollow chocolate statues of characters from media, but more often then not it's been solid chocolate bunnies.

I always looked forward to the chocolate bunnies. I'd get my brother's because he's not big on chocolate. I've had the prepacked Easter baskets but they were sometimes disappointing. My parents found it cheaper to put together baskets for us and we got the candy with enjoyed. Think my brother had a toy with his since he didn't care for chocolate.

Funny thing about talking about treasure hunts, in the game I'm playing there's a scavenger hunt event going on.

Same, I looked forward to them, as well. Nice. Indeed. Nice. Good. We always get kinder surprise eggs in there so we get a chocolate WITH a toy inside. Shame the toys mostly suck now.

Lol that's quite a coincidence! What game is it?
Petition for the next Windlyn event to be a scavenger hunt!

Genshin Impact!
It's similar to Zelda:Breathe of the wild. I wasn't able to play it yesterday and not feeling well today but there seems like there's a nice grace period to complete the event. Although the first part was the scavenger hunt, not saw if the second and third part continue that theme or not. Still it was fun and rather easy, first part at least.

There has been! We've had an Easter event where you had to find an egg "hidden" somewhere on the site and find it with a given clue. I enjoyed it but it was tough to those eggs!

Edit: I usually proofread but I'm having trouble thinking clearly so my posts today might not read that well :strain:

I'm sad you aren't feeling well, Watery, especially since each day can have its own challenges for you.

I was talking to someone today who suffers from lupus and she was telling me all the surgeries and difficulties etc she has gone through...but like you she always has a positive attitude!

I think we can agree the scavenger/treasure hunts haven't always worked for everyone! But i do like to "find" things. Just clueless sometimes when it comes to clues, haha.

I see!
There also been the limerick event. Which will always hold a dear place in my heart, for certain reasons.
That's ok, no need to worry about that! Though I am sad you aren't feeling the greatest.

Indeed.
PMA is good.
True, I had troubles with the limericks and never got the hotdog suit.

Thanks <3
I'm fortunate that I don't have to go through needed surgeries in relation to fibro. I feel for those that have to deal with lots of health complications.
ehh It's easier to try to be positive in an online space. I can actually be quite crabby at times in person. Eagle has to deal with all my fussing.

Scavenger hunts probably fall along the things I like that I'm not that great at, like puzzles.

Not sure I was around for the limerick event. Sounds right up your alley Npixelz.

I was able to find ways of managing. Back-brace helped ease back pain.
ugh though I do want to and need to vent but like things have been so pleasant here I don't want to be a bummer.

Sometimes we do need to vent though! :worry:

I was running late at work today but one of my customers started telling me her 28 year old only Grandson was diagnosed with lymphoma again ( he had it 12 yrs ago). She started sobbing. I felt like I wanted to give her a hug but all the covid stuff I didn't dare so I just said I wished I could give her a hug and would pray he gets through this one too and just listened because she needed to get it off her chest. Sometimes we just have to give someone a moment to express their emotions. It's usually enough to get them to release the pent up emotion and get a little grip on the situation.

So if you need to vent you can always put it in a spoiler or a PM!

Npixelz, your avatar looks great! Makes me want to get mine ready for Christmas (even though we have no snow here).

I called my grandmother and talked with her. It helped a lot.

I was in Discord spetrying figuring out the spoiler tags and that servers specific spoiler list policy ~.~
I may do that but think I may be out of spoons to try that here tonight.

I know I appreciate your posts here and your thoughtfulness and positive attitude. It's nice to be able to have a place we can go to and be distracted from real life's moments.

It's good that you haven't had to deal with a bunch of surgeries.
True, I am almost always positive online.
Eagle sounds like a good person.
I love scavenger hunts and puzzles. Well, depends on the puzzle. I still can't solve Rubik's cubes to this day, and I rarely try.
It was fun at first, then I got upset because I couldn't understand one of the limericks, but then something magical happened and I was overjoyed.
That's good.
If you need to vent we're here. If you don't want to bring down the mood just message me! I'll listen!

Indeed.
That's sad about her customer's son. Yeah, Covid makes things tough. Yeah, it's good to let it out as long as it's not in a destructive or overly aggressive way.
Yeah!
Thanks! I wanted to make a Jack Frost of my own design and this is what I came up with!

Nice.
I see.
If you need to vent you need to vent. But make sure not to do it in front of crewmates or they'll think you're sus.

My thoughts exactly.
