Yup. Twelve hour shifts. Hopefully I don't go in Tuesday to find that we have to come in Friday. Which considering the sheer amount of alcoholics in the place, is unlikely

Three 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch for a ten. Twelve has another 15 minute break added on, and considering the regular ones have start times that are about two hours apart, that extra 15 being an hour later is quick
Shift start is 1630. First 15 is 1830. Second 15 is 2030. Lunch starts at 2300. Normal final break is 0130. The spare is about 0240

I haven't eaten Denny's in like forever but I always liked their grand slam breakfast... would be tempted to retry it now that you brought it up. Dinner was hit or miss though it seemed.

Dad said all their stuff has dropped in quality overall, but the local one has been especially bad

Dropped another 1k on flowers and other things at Michael's
And that's after mom's discount. So that was fun

Do things cost that much now??? I haven't been buying anything but food or gifts lately. Michael's used to have discounts & rewards which made it affordable.

Dollar store carries cloth flowers, sometimes they have a good selection. Mainly bunches not garlands.

Lots of flowers sounds pretty & shold brighten the place. How do you keep them dusted?

Dollar stores are shutting down all over. I found it hard to figure out how they made any money before the inflation thing. It's sad.

I always end up buying more than I intended at the Dollar Store!

In any case, prolly not any within reasonable driving distance from Kit.

Barring walmart and tops everything here is their baby size, so a lot of the extra stuff is omitted

They still do discounts, mom's employee discount is constantly the biggest one, and they don't stack. And she has a rewards card on top of that, which my large purchases enable getting stuff for free for my oldest niece

Also what is it with everyone and dusting? They get dusty they get a few whacks and they'll be fine

Achoo, ok, I get it. I just don't touch my fake flowers & the dust doesn't spread < ok, I admit it, once in awhile I take them outside for a shake>
