Finally getting a Saturday off
Monday is still a full ten hour shift but hey two days off finally maybe I can finally get to the litterboxes

Unlikely to do anything fun. I've been spending the time just trying to rest and relax after six days of work so having two days off will be nice

Definitely not. They're low storage bins. Larger, cheaper, sturdier, which makes it easier for Corbin to get in and out of them

Dad had a bonfire last night
He'd taken quite a bit off the pile before he'd even lit it up and it still had the flames peak at about 30 feet

Had another six not show that I'm aware of. There may have been others that also didn't show that I hadn't been told about

Being half a mile away, I had decided to walk down, much to the confusion of everyone. Mom, who had been at work at the time, thought I hadn't gone down cuz the car was in the driveway

oh my 30 feet! I am surprised no one called the fire dept!!

We have been having insane fires over here, the worst ones were intentionally set & people have lost their homes, so sad.

A half mile away is a good walk, good exercise.

Eh, the fire company that would've responded to dad is a member of and knows the chief well so it would've been a case of "we'll keep a truck ready, I'm going to be nearby because I'm going to make s'mores, dammit"

We don't have drought weather, the 30 foot was peak, didn't last long, and it's away from anything that would make things nuts

Nah. I don't follow sports, and bestest sportsperson to sports is on that "meh" list

If Saturday in particular remains off, dad n I are gonna get me a couch owo

A new couch sounds fun ... do you have a particular one in mind?

I like going to the store & trying them out. I really like my love seat recliner couch, doesn't take up much space & I can recline back & nap or sleep in it. It wasn't very expensive either.
