The house has a steep roof, so really that's worse

Under the living room window. Not the picture window, I initially put it there but didn't like it so I moved it
Had to take the back door off, remove part of the screen door, and take off the feet, but that was the worst of it

Yeah, that's why roofers get paid the big bucks.

Pictures? Even if it's the advertisement picture. Interested in what you got!

So no (or minimal) stairs. Yay! Just you and dad moved it?

Yup. Dad did the garage roof, it's nowhere near as steep


The one with three cushions, though mine has some detailing the one shown doesn't have

Five for the back porch and a smaller one up into the house itself

The seat ones yes, the back ones no. But that may be cuz I got the floor model

It does mean I need to change my desk plans though. Where I wanted it to go is now blocked by the couch
I might swap the fairy garden and internet tables, since I can have litterboxes under the fairy garden table I want and I've got two by the internet
Or if I want to stick to the corner desk, I have a couple freestanding shelves I can move instead. Hmm

Remable cushions are great loose change collectors!

Not yet. It's on a table, yes, but the table is too small for it so the trays are stacked on each other

Dad, in regards to the nest: I think I'm going to take a long board, hit the nest as hard as I can, and drive off as fast as I can. Or your cousin [name] over at my house soon and I might convince him to drive and I hit
Judging by the lack of board hanging around that didn't happen but what in the boys will be boys???

Ooh dad got lucky
He wasn't gonna mow the lawn cuz he didn't feel like it then thought of the weather forecast and decided to do so
He was down by the ditch when he realized that a few minutes earlier he had mowed near a SECOND ball hornet nest
So he told me to ask mom for bee guy's number
And while waiting we found a THIRD ball hornet nest. All three within 59 feet of each other. The two on the house closer to 20 feet apart
Bee guy was gonna come tomorrow but between being nearby, ball hornets, and the time, he called back and said he was gonna do it NOW
House sprayed. Nests dying. Windows shut. Cats want out. If any of the three show any activity on Tuesday give him a call and he'll douse them again

Yeah the anxiety of more ball hornets plus having to make a phone call is...pain
But dad was interested in seeing it through, so he stuck around

That is an insane number of nests!

Hornet stings are painful ... please do not ever tempt fate by hitting them !!

Glad the bee guy came out right away... how long does it take for them to die? Will they just try to move into another spot on the property? or back into walls of your house ???
