Lemon: No, I still need to call my parents. Since hearing the CDC's recommendation against meeting in person and since they're only an hour away, I feel like waiting would be better. Hope the cases have gone down by Christmas.
With them having drove down to Florida recently makes me more apprehensive.

My parents are with my brother and sister-in-law's. My mom sent me a picture of their baby. Then she asked if I wanted to visit on Saturday. Said I wasn't feeling well because that's the simplest answer. Hoping Christmas/ January things will calm down enough for me to feel ok with visiting.

Did you bake anything special to celebrate the day? My apple crisp topping came out crunchy which I love when it does ( versus soggy).

We put our Christmas tree up today! I love looking at the lights...not sure if I want to put all the other decorations on though <cause it means cleaning it up after the holidays>.

No it was just a chill day here. I had my regular sweet potato fires and pumpkin pie for dessert though.

oh fun^^ I noticed more and more people leaving decorations up or not being in a rush to take them down.

I did some holiday shopping today because I'm one that has to smell the candles before buying them...but didn't think about having to smell them through a mask!

I've only been out grocery shopping so I was surprised that the 2 stores I went to had us use hand sanitizer BEFORE we went in...which actually makes sense since it would help the store to manage the cleanliness of hands that are touching their products. So then I wondered why the grocery stores aren't doing that...after all most of those foods go into your body and not everyone washes their products down when they get home. Interesting perspective I hadn't thought much about. (Other then sanitizing after shopping).

Stores around here have that hand sanitizer before entering store policy. Some of the grocery stores and a small business a friend works at but not everyone follows through with it.
Not that I've been out lol but that's what the locals say.

My brain is gone. I was updating Eagle on things when he came home and I almost couldn't finish all I had to say. Going to loaf at couch.
