I had a motherboard give out on a old compy and lost quite a bit of songs. I luckily had everything but those backed up but still. It took me years to get all those songs back and I am still missing a few tbh.

My lappy is 4 years old, fan is a little loud now though but I think I can clean that out. I'm torn between selling it or keeping it orz Desky is just as old which is the one I am wanting to replace.

I'd replace Desky first because that is the one that connects you to the internet for Wi-fi to be enabled. *nods head*

Wow. My laptop is good. It's a Toshiba and it's about 4 years old? My old laptop had the screen go out.

My first one was an HP that I bought cheap and refurbished it lasted a year and a half. That was what I used when I first joined Zantarni Turtle. Then I bought a new Dell laptop which worked till three years ago more or less. XD

I've gone through like 3 computers and my father told me I'm not getting a new one if I fuck this one up, so I've been super careful with it and I just use my iPad for everything.

I think the very first computer I had was a old Compact. Like, this is just before dial-up era old. Needed that one in the 4th grade because we had to do writing and I couldn't do it at school because there wasn't a lot of computers there and they didn't want me working on it in class. Had that one for almost 6 years. Did a lot of writing on that one.

Then after that one went down we got the E-Machine and dial-up cause I needed that one in high school for work. Motherboard went bad in that one about a year or 2 after we got it. Then I got a old red Dell to replace that one until I got into college and got the HP and laptop and satellite internet.

So, yeah, it's been a bit really. I'm good with keeping it up but, at the same time, 4 years is a long time for a computer anyway because of how fast everything updates and all now. So, yeah, this computer is still good it's just the fact that the programs I need to use now have higher needed specs.

Which sucks, really, but that is how it is.

Pffft I had other Desktops but they are Family computers. The ones i listed were ones I bought and owned myself. XD

Yeah that does suck with the specs of programs needing to be higher then what you have.

Well the first two were 'family' ones but I got the most use out of them in the end. So they might as well have been mine xD

Yeah my sister kind of just hogged the computer on me when we got our first few family ones. She spent so much time just Instant Messaging her friends it made me mad. First off I was only ever allowed to use the computer when it was for school work that was the only time my sister would get booted off it by my parents. They never would say hey it's Jay's turn now. Once I was allowed on I wasn't allowed to close my sisters IM's she had. Which pissed me off that she was allowed to keep it on because I had friends I wanted to talk to as well. She would even yell at my parents about it and instead of them saying that If she WASN"T using the computer they have to be closed out. It doesn't matter that she was talking to whoever if your not home then it's closed out so your other family members can use it. I didn't get a chance to touch the computer till she went to Switzerland for a week for a Exchange thingy. It was the only time that I had the computer to myself and got to play on sites. When she came back though it was hers again. When she graduated high school and went to college I finally had the comp for three years while she was gone but in the summer it was hers. Then when I saved up enough money I wanted to buy a laptop with my money and my parents were like NOPE because they didn't see the need for one. Even though I said that she hogged the computer all the time. When she graduated college she had her own computer from college and her own apartment. Then she ended up moving back here and ended up getting a laptop herself. I then got my first laptop because she was able to convince our parents for her to get one. Even though I was 23 and it was my money it took that long. >_> After that I have been on nothing but laptops since then.
