JinMay I guess it depends on your DMV, but over here there's no extra charge to take any of the tests over again (and no additional charge for the driving test).

@galled: Really? *gasp* I'll have to check what the rules are for the DMV here. I think you get three tries for free but after that, they start to charge you for each additional try you need. But like, I'm not 100% sure. The thing I worry about is when they ask you to point out things inside the car.

JinMay

Do you know which car you'll be doing the test in? Study the owner's manual and sit inside the car and identify and know how to use every single switch in the car. You'll get it!

Also keep in mind that you don't need to get everything 100% right. You can miss quite a bit of the knowledge stuff, but there a few instant fail driving things (not coming to full stop, hitting something, going the wrong way, not obeying the laws, etc.). I'm sure you'll do your homework and you'll do great!

@galled: Yes I do! Ohh.. I don't know why I didn't think of that. You're so right! I have the manual in the car actually so I'll give it a good look through. I know the emergency lights, like the button. But I don't know about the high beams and low beams or the hand brakes. Those things, you know. I'll really have to give that manual a read. Maybe use a highlighter and highlight a few things if I really need to, but I'd rather not.

Right! Yes, that is true. I just have to do good enough. Oh gosh, parallel parking is kinda tricky. I'm not too bad at it though last time I tried. Thank you though for the tips and encouragement! :D

You need to know your hand signals as well, they are the same as for if you were riding a bike on the street.

I got my license later then my friends, I wasn't comfortable driving but I got more comfortable the more I drove.

Good luck! If you study it & don't rush you will do great!

@Gingerale: Oh right! The hand signals! I had forgotten about that. ; n ;

I remember those though so that shouldn't be too hard but I'll be sure to practice hard. I just really want my license, it would really maker things easier.

Thank you!

We all have obstacles, just so long as they don't feel like they are unsurmountable ... but if they do, know there are those who care about you & that can hopefully help you navigate through them!
