I'm all for brighter lines on the road for night driving. I hate when I can't see the markings on the road ... makes for unsafe driving.

Yeah, down south the center line has these reflective thingies on the ground too, but they stick up off the ground and the plows up here would just destroy them every winter

Oh, never thought of that! They must make a lower profile one because I've seen them on roads that get plowed.

Oh they do!

Most certainly
My one aunt was shocked I didn't know what swamp coolers were out until her husband pointed out that the weather's different up north, swamp coolers wouldn't be of any use

I believe so? They're a specialized form that I think do more about humidity than anything else? It's been years so I can't remember off the top of my head

It was so hot today, anything to cool off would have been helpful! :distress:

Meanwhile we've been having on and off heavy rain (the heavy part, not the rain) since about 45 minutes before I had to leave for work
Naturally this did not deter Doink from wanting out and boy was she insistent on getting inside ahahahaha

Heavy rain is kind of cool to look at ... so long as you don't have to go drive in it!

Hope you got to work safely ...or maybe you didn't have to go in ?

I've done that ... use the rain to wash my vehicle!

On the flip side of that we always say if you wash your vehicle it will rain.
