When I try to shop online I seem to take hours before I decide!

I hate when Kohl's has a timer tracking down to how much time is left for the sale...it makes me panic.

ugh timers make me anxious although knowing things are often for a limited time makes me anxious.

I was on Simon's and thankfully there was a nice selection so I was just adding a bunch of things to my wishlist and then going back through that list to see what I really needed.

That's the key...what we really need...the last couple months I was finding stuff I've wanted on sale...like rectangle glass pyrex storage dishes with lids that can go from freezer to oven or be microwaved etc. They store so much better so I am glad I bought them! I got them on sale with a 30% discount on top plus Kohls cash rewards so what cost normally $40 cost me $14. I love those kinds of deals!

I've calmed down with my desire for "stuff." My parent's want a xmas list but I'm not sure what to say. I've been looking at online stores of my favorite artists, but I have a feeling my mom would find it easier to pick something up from walmart.

No worries Npixelz, there's plenty I'm out of touch with being a "hermit."

gift cards are usually a greta idea but with stores shutting down I am hesitant this year to give them out. I suppose Amazon gift cards would be a safe bet though, and starbucks? Cash is ok too, it can be put in a decorative envelope with a note to pick something out that they want.

Or I know families they donate to local non profits and that is their gift to each other.

True, the stores shutting down is not good for that. Cash is good as long as you make sure the card is really sweet. And maybe make some sort of suggestion of what store might interest them? Well, not a suggestion, more of a recommendation.

My mom isn't tech savvy but my dad is *shrug*
My mom likes to get me at least a little something besides gift cards, cash or something that might not arrive in time. I'm going to have to look over wishlists I have on my tablet.

I went ahead and linked the one listing in an art shop. My personal lists were all outdated. But going through online shop wishlists I remembered how having a rolling cart for my art supplies would be nice. Michael's has one I've been eyeing and it's inexpensive.

Michael's can have some great discounts...maybe you can get in on one of those for a rolling cart. I think that would be a very useful item to have for crafts/art.

The only thing I really want is a Lego Minecraft Enderman set. I had to think hard about more stuff to ask for, because I knew my mom wanted to buy me more than one thing (since my sister is going to get something expensive), so I asked for a new wallet and new digital watch.
Let's hope Mike is good for it.

I'm at that point I buy what I want anyway so have no idea for what to be given for a gift. Plus I have allergies to scents etc so buying me anything with a strong scent is generally not a good idea and I break out in rash with certain lotions so I generally go with house hold items as a safe bet.

Npixelz yeah my mom is the same way. She'd ask my brother and me what we wanted: one big present or a few smaller gifts, each year. Sometimes she'd say that they can't afford much and asked if smaller gifts would be ok.
Wallet is a good one.

I think I haven enough hobbies and interests that I can figure out something. But I don't like the idea of something being bought for the sake of it. You know? like something random. Being able to be with family and friends is nice enough.
