My parents just hired someone to take care of us because they're always at work.
Like even now I usually only see them around 11 pm or later or if I personally go to their office.;;;

I mean sure it helped but it resulted in 3 kids who can't do anything house-work related.

*hugs the Turtle* Well I wouldn't do that since your so cuddly! :)

I am one of those people who actually had his mom raise him and still not know how to cook. XD My mother stayed out of work until I was in 7th grade. XD

Diff here bc just one parent working wasn't able to pay off all of our tuition fees, that and my parents keep talking about earning enough money for us in case they don't live long.

Lol thanks Jay. My husband can't cook cuz his mom always cooked after work for him.

Oby, it's also kind of your culture too isn't it?

I think not really, but my grandparents weren't able to provide for my parents much, so I think they don't want us(my siblings and I) to experience the same.

Your welcome Turtle! *hugs*

Yeah my mom was a sweetheart and did most of the cooking. My sister learned to cook but I just never did except Mashed Potatoes. XD

I'm a mediocre cook but I have the potential to be good is I learned.... I'm just afraid to experiment...

I don't really go to the kitchen so uh
I guess I could say that I haven't actually tried?
Nor do I want to bc my aunt would yell at me if something bad were to happen.

Well... Is there someone who would be willing to teach you and supervise you in the kitchen...? Even though you seem old enough to not need supervision.

Morning Jay

Old enough sure, but my aunt usually buys ingredients and she's really uhm
idk how to say it but uh
she doesn't like seeing anything she buys go to waste? And she yells a lot so I usually try to run away whenever I see her.

That's annoying.... I would help you learn to cook! But we live so far apart....

That is a problem, only thing I learned how to cook at school is eggs, like other than that we went straight to baking and I don't understand anything from it.

Wow that sounds difficult to live with especially because your aunt could make a dish that honestly could be going to waste by anyone who doesn't like it. It's better for someone to learn to cook a meal they WILL eat then be forced to starve and waste ingredients in a meal they won't.
