I apparently lost the sim card that came with the phone, I took a manual out of it's packaging to look at something that might've been in there. The plastic case is torn open because I didn't find out until it was completely out that it was the wrong kind of phone.

You usually can if you have the receipt and the packaging (even opened). Just tell them you were told it was the same as Tracfone and it isn't. I've seen people return stuff without the packaging and receipt, but you only get store credit. Try it. They can only say no and you're back where you are now. You should be able to return/exchange it for the one you want.

My dad got me one so I don't need to worry about that. I might try returning it once my mom gets here to give it to me. While I did survive without a phone, Facebook isn't all that reliable for communicating.

It's just as or less reliable as communicating through Facebook.

It doesn't matter anymore, I have a phone now.

One thing that makes it even more annoying like that, I'd have to carry my laptop EVERYWHERE just to say "Ok" to my dad or something. And having a source of time-telling on me to keep track of how long I've been on my breaks at work makes a phone better.

yeah. for the most part communicating thru internet isnt very reliable as the other person isnt always on the internet, and although a person isnt always on their phone, it goes off and is usually the first thing they actually check.

Good, for the most part. I went to my first Oktoberfest. It was not as great as I was expecting. A lot of drunk people in a small space playing poorly made games and listening to blasting German folk music. The beer was very good, just overpriced.
