Lemon hey!
Unfortunately I did not. I've been so busy with doctors appointments and phone calls regarding my dad's health that I haven't been able to check in when I wanted to. It's just a lot going on here at home. My mom has a doctor appointment next week I think, and hopefully so does my dad. So there's that I'll be busy with and my little brother has covid. So there's that too.
How are you though? How have you been?

It's been really hard. My brother and I are super close and right now I can't be close to him, obviously. We usually eat at the table together and now we can't do that and it sucks. He just stays in his room and sleeps most of the day. But he eats a bit and has been drinking plenty of water so I have faith he'll recover soon. I am doing the best I can. I'm trying to find the balance between helping out, and me time. I did put together a puzzle with my dad yesterday? Or.. the day before? I can't remember. My brain is all mushed but yes, it was fun and my mom helped. She's not good at puzzled but was able to find the spots for two pieces. Haha. She was so proud it was cute. Thank you so much Lemon, you really are a great friend. ; u ; <3

JinMay, The best thing for your brother is sleep anyway. When he has been without a fever for 24 hours ( not using any fever lowering medications) he should be fine to be around. Make sure he gets some warm soup to keep his energy up.

It is tough watching those we care about suffering.

Sounds like you had a fun puzzle time with the parents though. I don't know what it is about puzzles that is so alluring but it doesn't take long for everyone to want to be helping out!

Yeah, sleep is important. He did eat soup earlier today and he was able to actually finish it all which is good. I was worried he wouldn't finish it all. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be sure to pass on that information. It really is tough, I just wanna go and keep him company but I know I can't. He seems to be keeping himself entertained by watching streams. I heard him laughing a few minutes ago, so that's good.

It was a 'Where's Waldo' puzzle, and I pound the piece with Waldo. :D My dad loves puzzles, but he hasn't put any together in a while. It was fun yeah, even though my lower back was killing me.

I sent you more event items in a trade JinMay.

oh no! Back issues seems to be prevalent right now! One of our other member's Arc, is having issues as well & I hope getting some treatment. mine is sore from working extra.

Do warm compresses or stretches help with your back? That's what I think I am going to go do.

Thank you so much Lemon! I'm currently working to put together a new look, I can finally use this hat I've been wanting to. Hahah. I just need to find a good top and bottom to wear.
I have lower back pain a lot because one time I fell off my younger brother's bed and hit my lower back on the bed frame. Not fun but I laughed it off. Now it just hurts every now and then. Usually during my time of the month. Warm compresses help a TON! So do give it a try, I'm sure it will help you too!

yes, warm compresses do help, I do strongly recommend using them!

I use rice filled packs because they give a moist heat. They are easy to make & easy to heat up in the microwave.

Gizzie: You can not gift or trade pets or their eggs.

You have to deposit it in the adoption place for a fee & they have to "adopt" it for a fee.

edit: deposit it in the pound. Find it in the header when you click on "pets"

I feel like there is a special feeling when you get your first blue ursus egg from fishing.

I wanted to raffle off or give away some of my rare ones or like I saw some on wishlists but I fear someone else might grab the pet before the intended recipient gets it

If you want to give it to someone make sure you both are on & private message them you will drop it in & that they can collect it.

Just know there is a fee .. like 100 feathers or so for each transaction.
