A Fallen London event concluded a while back, but I'm still thinking of how insane my current set of FL-verse OCs are.
Damian doesn't know how to interact with people other than using or extorting them, and his only source of joy is the thrill of the hunt and kill (be it a beast, or a monster - literal and figurative). He's violence, honed to scalpel precision. All edges - he doesn't know how to be anything other than a weapon. (Kinda obvious that an edgy 16-year old created this character, He's destined for a tragic ending. He'll get bored of the Neath and attempt to seek what should not be sought.)
Sylvan's kindness is often a deliberate decision - it doesn't come naturally to them, but they will try. Despite being good at reading and manipulating people (extremely relevant skills when you're basically a networker and information broker), they're not very aware of their own emotional needs and wants. They did not have the privilege of living for themself; they don't know what they'll see if they look into the mirror unmasked.
Robin is straight up a pathological liar, who chases after the novel and the strange, and will drop relationships like a hat once they find the next shiny thing. They're careless with consequences - it doesn't matter the implications of their actions, as long as they get access to their current obsession. (They fell into a long and deep depression after The Fall, and it was that novelty that got them through it - they're terrified of finding out what would happen to them once that runs out.)
I still don't have an OC for Sunless Skies/Seas, but it'll be funny if they're the most well-adjusted one of the bunch, considering The Horrors are more overt in those games.
