Started strong with dead car battery and needing a ride and it went from there

I have one of those rechargable battery jump starters. It's works for getting going again, but a bad battery is a battery and needs to be replaced ASAP unless you left something on that drained the battery since you last shut off the car.

Car hadn't been run in a week and super cold. Dad said that's enough to drain any battery

Yeah he was gonna jump it but cables weren't long enough for how the car was parked so he took me in and then used his battery charger

Work was just as bad ahahahaha
Had to print all day but I knew that was happening. Least I get print pay
Half the linesfolk called off
All the lines had messed left from first
Three changeovers, which meant the manual line fell way behind
One line got shut down so one of the two could go to the big line and the other to another small line with an easy packout
She ended up way behind cuz the material handler told me time for changeover so I did and then he disappeared to needing to be paged. Fortunately for her one mechanic who is super good at packing and the superintendent both helped her and once the line was caught up she didn't fall behind as badly. Still did because she's new enough that one extra component will make things a mess
Third shift supervisor ended up helping clear the manual line, which was great when the printer on the line she was on decided to break the track belt and cause the water line to break, so a different mechanic ended up joining her on the line she started on for the rest of the night
And then cuz that printer was shut down, air and all, I couldn't get the screen out so the superintendent had to hold the squeegee up
And then SROs. Cleaning the printers. Loud. Dusty. Not fun. Shift ends at three in the morning. I clocked out at four-thirty

On the plus side, last week i put in to take the days between Christmas and new years off and since the second shift supervisor now makes notes I won't be called a brat cuz she forgot again ahahahaha

Sounds like a mess!

But if I was working on stuff like that in the middle of the night I think things wouldn't go so well, just because my brain doesn't function clearly at night, lol.

This week is M-Th because the company chimmus party is on Friday but the second printer should be in all week so I don't have to worry about the damn auto printers
First printer is stuck on first for who knows how long at carton house, and he misses second
First has no sense of humor, it's all work and no play while second will fuck with each other and still make rate (hell, being a dickass to the material handler is the only way to get him to do anything), every rule is in effect so First is stuck to radio (we totally don't use earbuds and Bluetooth on nights, oh no. I just have a special radio station only i can tune into for a wild variety of music and no ads), and also night shift best shift
Friday had a printer call while he was still there and he responded ahahahaha
