Tuesday has a predicted high of 19 and is the coldest day of the week
The rest are predicted highs of 20s-30s

On days mom works at Michael's she tries to remember
Otherwise I'm on my own, which means stuffing the fucker
Plus it's an insert so it's not really powerful enough to heat the house properly

Do you need to worry about pipes freezing?

Only if the house gets below freezing

When that happens the fire is warm enough to keep them ok? Or do you need a bigger fire?

As long as I have a fire going, while it's not big enough to properly heat the house, it does well enough to keep the house from getting that cold

Oh, really critical the fires keeps going. How many hours can the fire stetup go before the need for intervention on really cold days?

Cold outside doesn't affect lengthof time the fire runs. That's more on the wood
Generally when I leave to when I get home it will be run down, and I stuff it full
Bedtime is another full stuff but since it generally has less time to run dead, I'm far more likely to have hot coals by the time I wake up

Mom n dad are well aware so if they're at my house or pass by when I'm at work they're likely to restock

Michaels' has some unique choices for flavored food extracts, someone told me about them so I am going to try them out & compare. when I think of the Michael store I don't think food <even though I did know there are ingredients for candy making>

I think I am going to research using old wax from candles to make my own where I can reuse the glass jars. Someone said to get old wax out just put the container in the freezer. Do you have any experience with it?

I'd like to try to hand make some candles, I did it when I was a kid for projects/gifts but that was a long time ago.
