That would be an interesting concept...

Yesterday after our D&D session we headed to one of our group's house because it was her belated birthday party!
We had a picnic in the park and fairy bread! Because you're never too old for fairy bread.
However, me and another friend thought it would be a good idea to sample almost every food there with salsa and these were the results:
Twisties with salsa = alright but would not recomend
Caramel m&m's with salsa = one of the worst combinations
Apple with salsa = just don't.
Grapes with salsa = >< never again.
Tiny teddies (you have those were you are? childhood favourite of every Australian child ever) with salsa = It's ok but the aftertaste is pretty bad
Fairy bread with salsa = when you get past the spice and the sprinkles mixing the taste is just meh
And then we tried a few of the above combinations together:
Fairy bread + Tiny Teddy = Pretty good! (Chocolate covered Tiny Teds btw)
Fairy bread + Caramel m&m's = Not bad. Needs more than one m&m though for full effect
Fairy bread + Tiny Teddy + Caramel m&m's = Ultimate combination!
Tiny Teddies + Twisties = Surprisingly really good. My favourite combination

Every time one of us would try something gross, the other would be like 'Oooh lemme try!'
Overall, we didn't throw up (Woop woop) and we all ended up acting like kids on the play equipment (You're never too old for a playground) But on the other hand... since it's now Spring my hay fever was acting up really bad and i couldn't stop sneezing and when i got home and my nose got blocked, as a result i'm only able to breath through my mouth, and if you know me, you know i get tonsillitis a lot. So... guess what i got! I'm about to head out to the doctors but since i've been trying so hard this year to avoid it, i'm just a bit disappointed

Not sure I know what tiny teddies are unless they are similar to teddy grahams?

Anything sweet together generally is a doable combo.

I am so sorry the postnasal drip has got you! Do you take antihistamines during hay fever season? Does it help at all? You are probably too old now to have your tonsils removed, but even so, the allergies still remain.

I just clump ghosts in with magical....or rather, ethereal world which is to me part of the magical world.

Sounds fun.
No idea what Twisties or Tiny Teddies are.

That sounds no fun. Hope it gets better.
Also, it's Spring where you are?

Lastly, do you play Minecraft?

Lemon: After a quick google search, they do seem similar. And although it runs in the family, i've never really been badly affected by hay fever so i don't take anything for it. I might make a different avatar closer to Halloween...

npixelz: They're really tasty! Surely you have something similar?
Thanks. And yup. It's spring!
We've had lots of conversations about Minecraft, don't you remember?

People always say "I don't have allergies" and "I never had allergies." I never had allergies either when I was younger, and neither did my parents, but I do now (and so does my mom). :/

If you've never had allergies before doesn't mean you'll never get them. It seems allergies can be hereditary, but not always. Studies have shown that environment and how many germs you were exposed to when you were a baby are all factors.

It seems the only way to know is to try antihistamines and see if they help. If they do, you've got allergies! The good news is antihistamines are available over the counter and if they work, you've found yourself a cheap fix!

There's tests to see if you have allergies, aren't there? And they can also tell what you're allergic to.

Yes. Quite involved (needles!) and expensive in comparison to a package of antihistamines.

I see. I got tested awhile ago, and found out I was allergic to cats, dust, and freshly cut grass. The grass is what gets me the most, I think. But the one I'm saddest about is the cats. They're my favourite animal, so to be allergic to them really makes me unhappy.

I know a few people that have mild cat allergies, but still own cats anyway as long as they keep their clothes hair free and the cat doesn't sleep on their bed they're mostly fine though

And different breeds of cats affect the allergies differently, so if you get a cat with shorter hair or less dander you might be ok. But you would have to test it out before getting a cat npixelz. And you can always enjoy a cat from afar by going to a friends or relatives who has one. You might not have to go "without" totally that way and also see how badly your allergies act up.

Or I could just have five million cats, and get my body so used to them that it doesn't matter anymore.

Also, you still didn't answer the question about Minecraft, Ali.
