I read to my mom. She wants to improve her English so sometimes I will read an English book to her or test her from a language instructional book. When my friend was sick I would read to him as well.

I myself don't have the attention span to listen to audiobooks. I get distracted by my own thoughts and end up tuning out, and when I return I've missed critical parts of the book. When I have a physical book In front if me I can always re-read it.

I agree, I prefer to have a book in my hand rather then audio or e-reading.

Hurray! The Halloween event is here!

And I have nothing for the first challenge.

I feel like it's too soon for this kind of challenge because there's not very many items and items that would be best for this, not everyone here was present at the time those events happened to get the items. Like, the Halloween costumes from last year and the snowman ones from Christmas (Guessing for obvious reasons) I couldn't get because I wasn't here.

It's kinda almost unfair, but whatever, hopefully next week's will I have something to use for it.

I think there are a lot of the older items that can be fashioned into a halloween costume.

What I'm saying, some newer people don't have the older items. I came in at the start of the Valentines event, I don't really have good Halloween themed outfit ideas, not without one or 2 of the older Halloween items.

The contest is all week so maybe you can think of a zombie look or something. The different eyes are still in the shop, messy hair... "dirty clothes" ?

People are so freaking messed up, some stupid idiot decides to post a threat on a bathroom wall, and after the Oregon Shooting for goodness sake! This happened last year.

The thing they have in common? Both times is during midterms. Someone just really want to get out of midterms. >.<

Not to mention how the shooter in Oregon posted it on 4chan and people actually helped him out! Man, sometimes it's like they're asking for the internet to be censored!

Well, we have until Friday...maybe buy some of the Halloween items and change it if you aren't happy. But I totally like the zombie bunny idea for a costume.
