Yeah we had a town hall meeting which is the new quarterly meetings with the higher ups giving info on shit that doesn't concern us peons for the most part
Apparently the whole place is currently in the process of renovations! Our work areas will see that too eventually!
At the end where we could ask questions i gave the burning one: what about the roof tho?
That got a lot of laughter and yes the roof is currently getting quotes n such cuz it's massively overdue. There's a drive lane that splits my normal area in half and a massively getting worse one that drips in about six or seven spots there. Yesterday the one was so bad it was almost a stream. The mechanics stole a catch tarp from one area and the hose from another which was a whole lot of fun in of itself to watch
First the seal was shot so it just moved it all to one spot. Thankfully we have a plastic barrel on a little cart so I just put it there
Then the seal got replaced and it kept dripping...further down cuz that was the lowest point
They finally got that fixed and the skylift they were using died. As in charging it didn't do anything dead

dang, definitely do not want the roof collapsing!

Good they are addressing it & open to comments...hopefully it goes beyond hearing & they do actually get everything fixed so it is a safer & more amicable environment.
