Yeah we have this thing called winter and you need wheels with a softer rubber and shallower treads to grip better
Some people say having metal studs is better but I'm of the opinion that if you're sliding, the metal ain't helping. As someone who fishtailed with them
All weather tires are more like that for southern states while in areas with snow on the regular they're more like summer tires

Where I got them changed allows for storage on their site and apparently mom had her summers sold on her once so she ended up getting better tires. So because mom n dad go there, the guy at the desk made sure to tell them to not sell those tires lol

They sold her tires on her without her permission (while in storage)? Wow, yeah, they better make it right!

Studded tires (like micro spikes) are supposed to be good for ice, but they're terrible on everything else... :/

For snow, deep jagged treads works well in snow, but not great for ice. Yep, "all-season" should be renamed "southern all-season."

Mmn. You want shallow. Deep doesn't give you a good grip and on snow and especially ice you want grip. And up here there's a lot of both

Too much humidity makes any temperature feel worse.

$15 a season is very reasonable and a great serice for the tire company--it ensures they'll be changing your tires twice a year (which I assume they charge for). Smart!

Coworker who runs the one machine took the week off so I'm on it. Which is fine cuz it's high enough that i can sit or stand comfortably at it. Sitting even has a lil step for the foot pedal to sit on for easier access glad i was sitting when it had a leg break on me the one day last year, and a couple weeks ago I'd put in to have a floor mat put there and it makes standing there so much more comfortable
And then Wednesday our lead was out which means having to figure stuff out. Which we had plenty on hand so that was easy enough
Yesterday I was assigned a line so a coworker got to run it. Idk if he's aware of the quirks it currently has so not everything may have been sealed. Oh well. I did get to spend half the night faffing about though, si ce it was run one line until finished and by then the next should be ready. It very much was not. Coworker who was on the line with me went to a different line to swap and that one ended up on yet another line to straight pack until the line was ready. Which didn't happen until about two hours to shift end LOL
And then the supervisor decided I wasn't going to be on that line so I got swapped with someone else kekeke

I ate alot for Easter ... things I don't normally indulge in, so that was a treat.

Yup I didn't go to the egg hunt or dinner. Oldest sister was there and we do not have a relationship at all that I've mentioned once or twice plus several others, including some that didn't realize that while the Easter thing is new, Thanksgiving has been happening for years
As dad had expected, I didn't show between waking up late (they had the dinner early) and sister being there
Ended up getting KFC after our weekly shopping trip cuz i forgot to mention that I hadn't eaten yet to dad and they had leftovers. Oh well
Brother had the same surprise about me not being there again. Somehow he's always surprised when I don't show up. By my guess, only reason he still expects me to show up is cuz mom would make me when they lived here and now she can't do that
