HI SORRY I'VE BEEN GONE but I feel old today
I'm fine! I was in Singapore during the typhoon, it was funny seeing people ask us if we we're okay haha.
Exams went well actually! (kinda proud) I'm on Summer break now~ I wonder if anyone else is still in school on this site ovo

Maybe? Australia has a weird break schedule especially with christmas in summer... wonder what it's like to live there while everyone has opposite climates. xD

Glad to hear the exams went well! That's always a relief to be done and know you did ok.

At least you missed the typhoon and no damage done while you were away. How long does it take you to get to Singapore? Do you fly? Take a boat?

The distance between each area in Asia is small compared to flying across the states i'm guessing but 4 hours is pretty long for me. |D Though I think flying across Russia would be a different story.

1. Russia
[+] SPOILER
Covering an expanse of over 6.6 million square miles, Russia is the world's largest country by landmass, beating out runner-up Canada by around 2.8 million square miles. It includes nine different time zones and shares land borders with 14 neighboring countries.

2. Canada
[+] SPOILER
Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia. However, its population is only about one-fifth of Russia's. Nearly 90% of Canadians live within 200km of the border with the United States, which means that Canada contains vast expanses of wilderness to the north.

3.China
[+] SPOILER
Second largest country in Asia, after Russia. Excludes Taiwan, disputed territories with India, and disputed islands in the South China Sea (total 137,296 km2). ... The largest Spanish-speaking country and second largest country in South America.

smallest:
[+] SPOILER
Based on landmass, Vatican City is the smallest country in the world, measuring just 0.2 square miles, almost 120 times smaller than the island of Manhattan. Situated on the western bank of the Tiber River, Vatican City's 2-mile border is landlocked by Italy.

Interesting tidbits: Cities that are a country:
[+] SPOILER
When a country is a city-state, i.e. the city is the country, or the other way around: the country has only one city. Although this can be justified by the country being small (e.g. Monaco, Vatican City, Singapore), it is NOT justified when a country of this size has an economy the size of the US economy.

Alaska:
[+] SPOILER
1741: The Year Russia Discovered America. A seafaring Russian first glimpsed the shores of Alaska on June 4, 1761. Its first settlement was established on August 14, 1784, but the Russian colony in Alaska lasted a mere 83 years – then it was sold to the United States as “something useless.”
