Oh yeah there's an eclipse happening soon right? I've heard about it but I don't really pay attention to that stuff. Still think it's really cool though.

The solar eclipse will be on the East coast only this time around. Still an interesting phenomenon of nature.

Maybe we can get the solar backgrounds in the Lazarus shop for it!

Do you have any special Easter plans, JinMay? How is your Dad doing? If he doesn't get worse than that is a good thing.

Umm, no I don't think so. But in news of my dad, he is well! As well as someone can be anyway. He does his exercises, and uses oxygen when he needs it but sleeps with it on. I know it's going to be a lengthy recovery for him but he's doing well. I'm happy to have him home.

It'd be nice if nonessential jobs gave people the day off for eclipses

Some people plan ahead & request vacation time to travel to see a total eclipse, some employers have let employees take the 5 min to go outside & look (an average eclipse total lasts only a few minutes).
I suppose a person could request the day off with no pay but I would think it would be too costly for an employer to just shut down for the day ... because what if it was cloudy & you couldn't see the eclipse anyway?

but I heard on the news that Niagara falls is afraid of a heavy influx of tourists to see the eclipse there.
