Oh no, I hope everything is okay over there! D': And yes, fortunately not!

Over the weekend I saw on the news that there was snow in Southern(?) California.

I mean I don't see mountains often but I think the ones I've seen have had snow on top

I just assumed all mountains except maybe volcanoes had snow on top

Yeah, most mountains lose their snow. It melts into river water during spring and summer. That's what makes valleys so nice! Hmmm, I think in North America it's just Alaska and some Canadian mountains keep their snowcaps. We got a bit of hail yesterday, but not today! Just random torrential rain for about 10 minutes.

I liked that expression "random torrential rain" ... That's about what we got a couple times today and now it is all clear & I can see the stars!

No need to have clear weather to see stars Lemon

Look in a mirror and you'll see one!

Aww Thank you, Npix

Clear skies today so I am going to try to hunt down the devil's comet ... so far I have been unsuccessful at seeing it.

Yay! I can get extra's of the solar eclipse background!

we won't have another total solar eclipse in America's until 2044 I think I read... I don't want to have to wait 20 years for the chance to get it.
