all according to keikaku
They're a good experience, and easier on the wrists especially for long writing sessions, but be prepared to get fussy over the paper you use. Some papers just don't play nice with the inks and they turn into a messy, feathery, bleeding, unsaturated mess.
Ooo I know art inks exist, just for coloring, as do calligraphy inks for dip pens. They can't be used on fountain pens, but they might be easier on the budget?
Haven't yet! I plan on getting a good blunt syringe or one of those droppers with thin ends first, so I can transfer ink with care and avoid spills HAHAHA
