10 hours at school!?!? I guess I can't complain when I have a 9 hour work day. What are you doing for 10 hours...?

The road to Mousy's school flooded she said so no school until after labor day weekend because of the storm.

public or non I think it is 7 hours here and that includes a 30 minute lunch.

Lemon, that sounds right for the US. I only went to public school so I'm not sure of the differences with private school schedules.

Generally the schools here are 9 hours for international and then 7 for private/public schools :^0
They get off wayyy~ earlier~

Also, those 9 hours can be extended heck long more by club activities T T
So poor shiro! I only go to school for around 8.

That sounds too long. Do you get more than one break if it goes on to 9-10 hours?

Oh yea we do! I hate being outside though which is why i'm tired af all the time c': Being around like 1k people for that long sucks because I just wanna sleep yknow what I mean?
We have two 10 minute long breaks between each 90 minute class, then between class 3 and 4 we have an hour of lunch. Club meetings during lunch are held between the very beginning of my lunch period, so seniors have to eat after because the younger students have a different time table. Then... club activities after school usually last to an hour or two. *Sometimes we have a free block/class that's dedicated for us to study and work, but they took a lot of them out so it doesn't happen very often anymore. >_>;;

I suppose if you have sports or club activities it does go longer over here. Sports can have students arrive an hour before classes start and then sport games can end around 9 sometimes, especially if they have to travel to another school to compete, so it can become a very long day.

I had a 30 minute lunch break and it went by fast. Not even sure it was a full 30 minutes either.

It's not enough time to run and buy anything and the cafeteria food is not appetizing enough to wait in a long line for either.
